Fishing guide Capt. Sid got out last night  Walleye fishing in Sturgeon bay, Door County, WI.  The Bay of Green Bay has been extremely cold over by Little Sturgeon North and the bite had been very slow.  With a change of the wind direction it warmed the waters up a bit pushing the lake over from Oconto/Peshtigo.  This warm up spurred the Walleye to bite.  They went 3-5 with their limit in under an hour.  We hope this is the start to an awesome Walleye run that should go into mid May.  We will keep you posted with updates on the fishing in Door County, Sturgeon Bay, Green Bay and overall in the waters of the Bay of Green Bay.  Our Salmon boat will be launched in about 3-4 weeks and we will drive around to Lake Michigan soon there after.  We will be spot checking for King Salmon, Steel Head and Lake Trout during the process and will report back on this then.  Bass are already starting to bit in the marinas and proves that once the season opens in May we should have some stellar Small mouth bass fishing in Door County through out the spring, summer and fall!IMG_3225 IMG_3226 IMG_3227
