Silver Strike Charters headed north of Green Bay to fish between Oconto and Peshtigo on the Bay of Green Bay today.  The fishing has been really good with the Walleye run.  Previous days on the water had a south wind making the Walleye fishing very good.  This morning we had a very heavy North wind and very cold water.  This slowed the Walleye fishing a bit and many boats came in with no catches.  Capt. Sid and myself (Andy) still had very steady good action on the Walleyes today.  Although it was very cold we still took some pics of a few of our Walleye we caught.  We were casting and jigging different soft baits and crank baits.  Trolling planer boards only proved to catch a lot of weeds coming off the shoreline of the Bay of Green Bay with 20 mph North winds.  Brown Trout fishing in Door County has been very good and steady as well.  The Walleye run will be moving towards Sturgeon Bay in the next few weeks and we look forward to taking our guided fishing trips out of that area but in the mean time we recommend going up to Oconto.  Silver Strike Fishing guides will keep you posted with fishing reports as we move towards Door County in the next few weeks!
