Green Bay Walleye Fishing has been spectacular this spring so far! After the ice fishing season we have not started blogging for the Spring, Summer and Fall Green Bay and Door County Fishing yet. I will give all of our followers a summary of what has been going on and what is to come in the next month or two!

To start the Green Bay Walleye Fishing has been very good! Right now we are operating out of the Oconto and Peshtigo area. The Walleye out on Green Bay are pre spawn right now and we are getting a lot of huge 30 plus inch Walleye. This should continue over the next few weeks then we will continue to Walleye fish during the spawn and post spawn. Silver Strike Fishing Guides have been using a mix of soft plastics and hard baits in which both have been producing. You can either troll or jig for the Walleye right now but we do prefer to jig as the fight is much more intense. Give us a call as we do still have plenty of spots available!

Around the last week or so of April Sturgeon Bay will start its Walleye run. Our Guides will start running our guided Walleye fishing trips out of Sturgeon Bay on Green Bay as soon as this Walleye run starts up. Typically the “hot” Walleye fishing lasts about 3 weeks. The next big “bite” will be the Small Mouth Bass in May into mid June. during May and June we will offer both the walleye and Small Mouth Bass trips daily just depending on your preference. Please inquire about what is the hottest bite at the time of the fishing trip and we will offer our suggestions.

The Salmon and Trout 31 foot Tiara will be launched around the beginning of May. Our guides will start our by fishing Brown Trout and then we will work on going out on to Lake Michigan to look for King Salmon and Steel Head. Then from June to November we will offer both boats for Salmon, Trout, Walleye and Small Mouth Bass! So when you head to green Bay or Door County give us a call for all of your fishing needs! The fishing around Door County is some of the best in the World!
