Green Bay ice fishing Whitefish Walleye ice conditions are getting better! The ice on Green Bay has progressed towards Dyckesville and Brussels. The inland harbors have also started to ice up. With the heavy winds the past few weeks the ice has not had a chance to settle and the warmer temperatures will keep the ice at bay. We are projecting around January 1 we will be out taking guided ice fishing trips on the Bay of Green Bay. Fisherman can be seen in Dyckesville but the bay is open out past the ice shelf.
We have been prepping our gear and building new shacks for the green bay ice fishing season. Door county Whitefish and Walleye should be in full swing by mid January and it looks to be a very busy season! We will be starting down by Little Sturgeon/Sand Bay and moving towards Sturgeon Bay as ice thickens. If you are looking to get out on the ice with Silver Strike Charter Fishing we recommend booking ahead of time as we have been receiving a lot of bookings. We are currently still running our reduced rates until dates start to fill. As soon as the ice leave the Bay of Green Bay we will be running Walleye trips in Peshtigo and Oconto end of March through April. If you have certain dates in mind to join us, again, please call ahead as we have been receiving a lot of calls. Don’t forget about you Salmon and Trout excursions in June, July, August and September as well!
Good Fishing to all and we hope to see you all soon! Please check back and we will continue to update conditions and fishing reports!
