Green Bay ice fishing guide for Whitefish and Walleye! Here is your update for Green Bay ice fishing including Door County and Sturgeon Bay! The ice fishing for Whitefish has been red hot! Lots of limits of Whitefish have been caught recently by our guided ice fishing trips! The Whitefish typically is good all the way through March so if you are thinking of bringing a group up to the Bay of Green Bay, Sturgeon Bay to do some guided ice fishing book now! We did add 4 more shanties and another 6 person UTV so most dates do still have availability.
Ice fishing for Walleye has been slow as expected during the end of January and beginning of February. We are catching a few and losing some nice ones but there are a lot of smelt in the area which is good but yet the fish are full. The Silver Strike ice fishing guide crew will be moving a few of our Walleye ice shacks around this week to find some hungry schools and we will update you. Historically the green Bay ice fishing for Walleye tends to get better as February progresses and we would call March or Walleye ice fishing season. If you are looking for a strictly Walleye ice fishing trip out of Sturgeon Bay book your March dates sooner than later as availability is a bit more limited than the Whitefish.
Keep following us for updates on the Green Bay ice fishing with Silver Strike Ice!
