Door County and Green Bay Fishing continues to be great! Salmon Fishing on Lake Michigan has been very consistent for our door county fishing guide experts! We have been leaving Baileys Harbor and heading about 8 miles out to deeper water to target the 1-3 year old Kings. Average catches of Salmon and Steel Head have been around 10 fish with 5 lost. On our charters we have been using a mix of Flasher flies and Spoons running deeper with copper, downriggers and wire dipsy divers. Typically in the fall we do move offshore to target the kings as they move out on the suspended baitfish. Door County Fishing has been great this fall but we are not positive how other areas are producing.
Door County Bass and Walleye Fishing
On the Bay of Green Bay, we have had success with larger fish while Walleye fishing in Door County. During the day, jigging with a mix of trolling worm harnesses have been producing fish and in the late evening and early morning crank baits have worked well. Walleye fishing will continue to get better all the way until the ice arrives. Door County fishing for Small mouth bass has been very good as well. In Northern Door County, Sister Bay North. Softbaits have been working best for our Door County fishing guide experts here as well! The Small Mouth Bass move north in the fall and out to deep water structure and we do operate out of the best Bass fishing areas in the whole area!
